Marks Homa’s third PGA Tour victory and first win with Team Burns & Wilcox
Farmington Hills, Mich. – Burns & Wilcox, a globally recognized leader in wholesale insurance brokerage and underwriting, congratulates Max Homa, one of its brand ambassadors, on winning the Fortinet Championship this past weekend in Napa, California, September 16-19, 2021. The first tournament of the 2021-22 PGA Tour season marks Homa’s third career PGA Tour victory and his first win since joining Team Burns & Wilcox earlier this year.
“It’s truly special to play and win in California, where I grew up and played college golf for Cal Berkeley,” said Homa. “I am thankful for the ongoing support from Burns & Wilcox and happy to share another win with them early in the season. I look forward to continuing to showcase our shared commitments of hard work and integrity on and off the course.”
During the final round, Homa eagled 12 and then birdied hole 13 to tie for the lead. He pulled ahead after back-to-back birdies at holes 16 and 17, firing a 65 and ultimately winning by one shot.
“We congratulate Max on his outstanding performance at the Fortinet Championship this weekend,” said Alan Jay Kaufman, President, Chairman and CEO, H.W.
