Julia De Stefano is a Senior P&C underwriter at Burns & Wilcox Canada. Her focus is on new business producing in the Ontario region. Julia has been in the industry for 7 years starting in automobile claims, she then worked her way to underwriting spending a large focus on hospitality business. As a producer, her primary responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of carriers underwriting guidelines, obtaining adequate underwriting information, reviewing coverage requirements, and negotiating prices, terms, and conditions. She has several designations, including the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), General Insurance Essentials (GIE) and the Registered Professional Liability Underwriter designation (RPLU). Julia holds a Business Insurance degree from Mohawk College.
